Swimming Lessons for a Mermaid is originally a webtoon series. The first three volumes were officially published in book format by Young Com (영컴) on November 18, 2021 after a successful crowdfunding campaign. Volumes 4 through 7 were successfully crowdfunded to be released on June 16, 2022. The series was published digitally in English by LINE Webtoon from March 4, 2020 to January 19, 2022; in Spanish; and in French.
