Chew and Swallow was originally serialized on Lezhin Comics Webtoon for 78 chapters and 4 side story chapters from November 3, 2013 to June 21, 2015. It was then removed from Lezhin Comic Webtoon and moved to KakaoPage, where 4 more side story chapters were serialized from June 30, 2018 to August 4, 2018. After a successful crowdfunding campaign, it was published in book format by Prinworks (프린웍스) on January 15, 2019. The series was published digitally in English by Tapas Media from February 2, 2019 to October 19, 2019.
