Synopsis
The young teacher, Kenta, becomes the teacher of "Class 6-Z". However, class-Z is the worst class in the history, with problematic children who didn't get used to the school, and on top of that, Taeko was the only student who attended the classroom, which was a terrible situation. Kenta, who came to his secret place with his only student, Taeko, accidentally fell under the "Yggdrasil" that the evil Vulture group was transporting, and turned into a wooden human. In this story, Kenta, a useless teacher, becomes "Woody Ken", a wooden hero who fights for his students.
Background
Woody Ken started as an comedy one-shot published in 1995 and later serialized in 2002 in the children's magazine Comic BomBom, but was ended after 18 chapters and 3 volumes due to the magazine's shutdown. In 2016, Kodansha reprinted the series in two shinsoban editions with extra contents and chapters.
